Fay and Brian’s wedding, 1st August 1998

Fay and Brian’s wedding in August 1998 at Dalhousie Castle was a joyous occasion in a beautiful setting. We (the girls – Fay, Heather, Isla, Emma and Pam), all gathered at their house in Newtongrange

to get ready on the day, and I remember Fay squealing with delight as a horse and carriage pulled up in front of the house to transport her to the castle!

The weather was fantastic, and Fay reckoned that her mum Sheila had had a hand in arranging that – having passed away only two years earlier, her mum was still very much in everyone’s thoughts.

Fay and Brian jetted off to the Maldives on honeymoon, where Fay attained her PADI open water diver certification.
