Fay’s boys clearly have the same combination of drive, ambition and kindness that their mum had.  They decided to “Brave the Shave” in September 2019 to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, and the total they raised shocked even Macmillan.

They wrote their story from the heart and launched a Just Giving campaign.  The fundraising took off and they even had coverage from the Evening News

On the day, the boys’ whole school gathered in the assembly hall to see them and their guidance teacher have their heads shaved.  The Evening News were covering the event and captured everything as it happened.  At the last count, the fundraising total had reached over £12,000.  It’s one of the largest “Brave the Shave” totals that Macmillan have ever seen.
