Fay always had a creative mind and an interest in the arts. She spent much of her spare time in her childhood drawing, painting, making crafts and playing music.
Her love of music and stage continued into her adulthood and she performed on stage with bands from the early 90’s, sang at open mic nights, at a festival in St Andrews, at weddings, and at her Dad’s 70th birthday. Latterly she sang at Rear View Music with Gill, who described Fay as a “harmony queen”, and her most recent band, Astronaut Canteen.
Fay attended weekly classes with All or Nothing Aerial Dance Theatre, and put on aerial performances, once as a double act with 10-year-old Fraser. Fay was known to try many things: water sports, winter sports, cliff jumping, fire eating, abseiling, zip lining across the Clyde, micro lighting, go karting, climbing the Forth Bridge…all done with a never-ending zest for life that was truly infectious.
Fay was someone who loved to connect with others, and she enjoyed having an online presence. She used her YouTube channel to share videos of her singing and aerial dance performances amongst other things. Fay’s YouTube channel can be accessed here
